The next International Artist magazine issue (December / January Issue 88) has a feature I wrote for them called
He begins "Sketch people in the wild." most artists draw posed models within a studio. It is easier to draw a who still holds in light controlled conditions. But sometimes it feels dull and predictable, like shooting fish in a barrel. The models can not help looking lifeless and against nature. What is the remedy? I want to head outside and hunt for natural and genuine poses real human lighting in their wild habitat.
regular readers of this blog will recognize most of portraits and anecdotes, but there are some I publish in the magazine for the first time.
