Two and a half years this blog has not existed, I barely knew what a tumblr and I was associated with Twitter cat pictures. I wrote six manuscripts were in query trenches four times and regularly read all of a blog (albeit a particularly informative blog, but a blog as well).

Two and a half years, I had two friends who enjoyed writing, but really did not show much interest to pursue professionally. I had a couple of people who have read my work and gave me feedback, but the writing was not their job, although their comments were useful, it does not really help me to grow as a writer.

Two and there's a half years ago, when I entered the query wars, I kept mostly to myself, except my immediate family and friends closer. And they were right, of course, and still are, but as they had not lived themselves, they do not fully understand how the process worked or what it was.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that when I created a Twitter account in April 2011, my life changed.

Suddenly I was pushing me to try new things. I have created a blog and realized that I loved her. I wrote more than ever before, both on poles three times a week and on new manuscripts. I realized how much he was reading there and more than doubled my number of annual reading.

Above all, I connected to the online writing community.

I can not even begin to tell you how easy it is to manipulate the pre-poll nerves, and rejection, and shelves manuscripts and early misfortunes projects, and editing gnashing teeth with a community of thousands of people who know exactly how you feel. Besides my wonderful CPs, who pushed me to do my job much better than it was, were all found through various forms of amazing internet.

I do not think I'm a better writer since diving into the world of media, I know I'm social.
