Two things to remember

Two things to remember - Before his graduate students at the Hartford Art School, instructor Dennis Nolan is all of them down and gives her intense wild man look.

"you can forget all that I have taught you," he told them. "But I want to remind you that two things :. How to place the horizon line, and how to draw an ear"

M .. Nolan told me that it is rare to find a good ear comic these days, even among professional artists. "Most people forget to show leg of the spiral down into the cavity of the conch," he said. "And not many artists know Darwin's tubercle."

Uh-oh, I thought to myself. I'm supposed to be a professional artist, but I'm not sure what he's talking about.

So tonight, after the work day is done, I will sit and understand the artistic anatomy of the ear. I'll show you the results and we'll compare notes tomorrow.
