Waldorf salad by another name

Waldorf salad by another name -
As I joked about the video, a fruit salad should be damn good to actually get a name, and the venerable Waldorf salad is definitely worthy.

I realize that there is a small group of you who will not be able to wrap your head around with mayonnaise fruit, and that's a shame, because it means that you will not enjoy one of the great combinations of all time. Also, if you are one of those mentioned above, but as mayo slathered all over your sandwich containing soft slices ripe tomato and caramelized onions, then you have some explaining to do. In addition, the coleslaw. I rest my case.

embellish it however you like, but I really like best with only four ingredients seen here. Things like dried cranberries can add a nice touch season, but for me, the soft fruit is in how this dependence texture crunchy / crispy. I really hope to give you that old school, but timeless Waldorf salad a try soon. Have fun!

Ingredients for about 1 cup dressing (enough for 2 salads Waldorf below ):
mayonnaise 3/4 cup
1/4 cup cream fresh or sour cream (I used CF)
1/2 lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon of sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
pinch of freshly ground black pepper
pinch cayenne
1 tablespoon finely chopped tarragon
