I love establishing our preschool classroom to on spring season ! We are reducing the color palette and provide more natural materials from outside. Our windows allow natural light to plants and we include as many textures as possible.

The First our preschoolers visit on arrivals is this table for signing. They find their name and either draw a line from left to right, or actually write their name (or parts thereof). At this table we showed them a few highlights of what we're going to explore that day or week. In this case, we would read "The Carrot Seed", learning to peel and grate the carrots, the taste of carrots, and paint with carrot tops. (You can read more about it here.)

We also add details in our reading area. This was before Easter, so we brought some books Easter. Daffodils were in bloom, so we added a vase of them as well. The framed photographs are teachers and their families. (We also post all families are the children of our classroom wall.) the bottom shelf stores our memory books that you can read on here.

Also in our reading area is our writing table. We had spring and paper stamps shaped egg on this particular point day.

I love to decorate our walls with the work done by children. These birdhouses are made from children last year, like butterflies. Our class this year has made the bird nests.

We have the wardrobe to children is against a wall in the center of our classroom. We like to use the top of this to highlight the season details.

Because our classroom is not large, we have to be very smart with how we use every inch. Our science is above our block set. I love this area because it gets a little nice natural light for plants.

Our large magnifying glasses allow children to see bits of nature up close, as these birds nests.

We also use up our tray in our dramatic area to explore nature. These plants from cuttings our preschoolers have brought in a few months ago. We transplanted into pots and enjoyed watching grow.

I love the seasonal changes we can make in our classroom! What details can you add? Please feel free to post photos on my Facebook page. I like to see others' classrooms!
