Since joining Instagram, I had fun making micro-videos. (Link to YouTube).
I went through some of my video files and found some stray clips that are not long enough to make YouTube videos in itself. Because they are so little, I upload them to YouTube unlisted videos. This way they can be integrated here on the blog, but they do not get told my YouTube subscribers. I also downloaded the micro videos on Facebook and Twitter, where I suppose they reach an audience predominantly non-overlapping.
Until recently, Instagram does not let you upload a video longer than 15 seconds. I enjoyed this critical. It forces me to create a mood or tell a story quickly. When he plays on Instagram, he cycles around several times. The effect is hypnotic and immersive as a drop for a moment in the shoes of someone else
Instagram has now extended its limit of one minute video, which gives much more possibilities for narrative
