in our pre classroom, art is very popular. Our two children 2 and 3 years like the mixture, swirling, and brushing the fluid on all kinds of surfaces.

Yesterday My assistant professor invited the preschoolers to paint on blocks of ice with watercolors. We already presented in watercolor on paper, and also on the bridge.

The table was ready for them as soon as we started our day centers. We like using trays for activities like this. They were bought in a thrift store there for many years and are very robust.

Another these are favorite watercolor palettes. We use them all year, inside and outside. At the beginning of the school year, we ask donations.

When we first present the watercolor palettes, we demonstrate how to move the wet brush around color several times, as in the beginning, they dab the brush into the paint and become frustrated that no grand thing color.

We often will trade thin ones that come with all our thick brushes, especially for younger preschoolers.

They loved how the colors mixed over the ice!

As the ice began to melt, paint rolled on set, where more color mixture place.

This is the first time we did watercolors on blocks of ice on a plate, but we explored the ice in the sensory table several times, as these three activities:

Ice, Water and Salt
Hammering Ice
Frozen From Ice Outdoors
