You can make your own slot camera on a digital video camera can with a regular sensor and a regular lens. All you need to do is the following:Via BoingBoing
1. recording a video of your action
2. Extract each image as a still image (the opposite of what you would do for a time )
3. extract a single pixel wide vertical line of each image (eg center line)
4. battery those lines horizontally from left to right to form a real image "of streak"
This can be automated through tools such as ImageMagick and your original video was, the more your image will be. In fact, the width of your scan image slot will have exactly the same amount of pixels that the chassis number of your original video.
Now, to go further, you can proceed to all other vertical lines in your images and create a slit scan image for each particular set of vertical lines. This will give you a set of as many streak images your initial video was broad in pixels.
