Places Doomstruck

Places Doomstruck -
Last Monday we went to "The Point", a group of old buildings doomstruck deep in the forest along the river Hudson.

The house was designed by renowned architect Calvert Vaux, and abandoned in 1963. Today, all the woodwork and porches are gone, and the vines have climbed over the side.

The greenhouse has almost collapsed, with catacombs where the oven lived. Yawning dairy barn brick as the skull of Cyclops.

I am always fascinated by the ravages of time so abandoned places. Here are some photos of an abandoned theme park called Spreepark Plänterwald near Treptow Park in Berlin. Dinosaurs are broken and headless, and the rides are sad and invaded
