New challenge: Food Trucks

New challenge: Food Trucks -
We had such an enthusiastic response to our last Weed Painting Challenge that many of you have asked for another occasion. This time, it's food trucks! I invite you to paint a mobile food vendor on site with a limited palette.

Photo by Paul Bartunek of Serious Eats

You can paint wheeled transport means that sells prepared foods such as taco trucks, hot dog, pretzel carts, trikes ice cream vans to waffles, or burrito trailers. This is a Wikipedia page on mobile Catering.

On Location
There must be painted on site and there must be a new painting made for this challenge. In addition to an analysis of the final painting, your entry must include a photo of your current paint to the ground.

All painting materials are acceptable: casein, gouache, acryla-gouache, oil, acrylic or watercolor

The Palette limited
The palette is limited to just three colors of your choice whiter. The reason for the limited palette is to keep your smooth paint, which can be difficult with such a subject kaleidoscopic.

(here's a video showing some kitchen owners in their mobile kitchens)
Price Scrumptious
If you want you can make a video (1 minute or less) of the owner to make a not for food, or you can make a sketch of the portion. I'll give you a special prize to the most appetizing height.

Deadline
It is free to enter. You can enter as soon as you finish the play, but on or before the deadline: Monday, August 15 at midnight Eastern Time. Winners will be announced on the blog Wednesday, August 17.

What and how to enter
Just pull two image files: 1. Your complete painting and 2. a picture of the painting on the easel in front of the subject. Your face does not have to be in the picture, unless you want to.

Download the images on this page Facebook Event (This way I do not have to deal with email, and you have your images in your way). If you do not have a Facebook account, please ask a friend with an account to help you. Please include in the FB post the list of colors that you used, and if you want, a word about your inspiration or design strategy, or a description of the food.

If you upload to Instagram or Twitter, please use the hashtag #paintafoodtruck
Price
I'll take a great price, five finalists and one winner Scrumptious. They will be published on GurneyJourney. All winners will receive a "Department of Art" exclusive embroidered patch. In addition, all winners will receive a video (DVD or download) of their choice. Everyone who participates will have their work on the Facebook page, too.
