I would like to announce some exhibitions and upcoming events that I attend.
An exhibition of 25 paintings called "Dinotopia: Fantastic Art of James Gurney" will be on view next month at Institute of New Hampshire of art. The exhibition will include Dinosaur Parade, Garden of Hope, Dinosaur Boulevard and many other classic images. It will be for three weeks from Wednesday, February 20 to Wednesday, March 13, 2013. The opening at 5:00 on February 20 is free and everyone is invited. I will present an illustrated lecture on achieving Dinotopia at 18:30 that night. - of April 10 -14 I will be a guest star in the 2nd Annual Plein Air Convention and Expo in Monterey, California. I will make a presentation on the composition and painting outside of the oil in the picturesque surroundings, with the rest of the faculty and participants. It is a great opportunity to talk shop while practicing in the field.

- later in April, the weekend of the 25th, I will be one of the guests at the Art of the Portrait Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. This event brings together many artists up portrait of the world of painting alongside live models and explaining the process. My lecture will be on the drawing portraits "in kind" candid models, and will be on a panel talking about blogging. (Photo Charles Walls)

In June, I will be one guests for a couple of days to master Illustration Class in Amherst Massachusetts. The spaces are filled for this year, but there is a waiting l ist.

and finally, do not miss the museum exhibition currently on view until 2 February to Lyman Allyn Art Museum in New London, Connecticut. It is called "Dinotopia: Art, Science and Imagination," with more than 100 original works of art Dinotopia, models and fossils. It is completely different from the show "Fantasy Art", so if you see a show, the other will have completely different surprises
