No one goes to the house of a friend for watch the game, and waiting to see a plate of these treats crispy-on-one-side, soft-and-savory-on-the-other-side, but after a few you do these, and spreads, I am sure it will be just a matter of time.
This is much better served hot or cold, so can -being fry in batches and / or keep warm in oven. And yes, if you do not do the shrimp, other seafood raw work. Besides, I have it on good authority that they are wonderful served with cold beer, and for that reason alone, I hope you give these a try soon. Have fun!
Makes about 16 toasts shrimp:
1/2 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/4 cup diced water chestnuts
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1/2 cup green onion thinly sliced
3 crushed garlic cloves
1 tablespoon finely grated ginger
1 anchovy fillet
1 teaspoon of oil toasted sesame
fish sauce 1 teaspoon
1 soy sauce spoon soup, or more to taste
1 egg white
sugar 1 / 2 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon paprika
pinch cayenne
pinch of salt
4 large slices of white bread
sesame seeds, option
vegetable oil for frying
