Preschool Birthday Slates

Preschool Birthday Slates - Disclosure: This post products notice provided free for discount school supplies. We bought a lot of our school supplies Discount supplies since 1999 .

We love birthdays in preschool! I dedicate a bulletin board for the old class of 3 years and a scoreboard for the old class 2 years only for birthdays. You can read more about it here.

The first week of school, the preschool children decorate their birthday crown. These go on the scoreboard and it will be displayed until we celebrate their birthdays.

This year, I wanted to add something to our birthday message boards, so I found some wooden rings from a local crafts store.

Discount school supplies sent me a box of art supplies to review, and I decided to paint their new washable Confetti and Stubby Chubby brushes work perfectly with this project.

We've owned many different types and brands of brushes, but what I liked the Stubby Chubby brushes were their short handles. They were much easier for our young preschoolers to handle in their smallest palms.

For those of you who read my blog for a while, you might remember that I love sequins, beads and confetti. His dry use, however, can be quite messy. And while I try not to hesitate because of disorder activity, I have to admit I enjoyed having the confetti already mixed in this paint.

I was one of my preschoolers decorate each wreath. The paint is thick enough and applies smoothly. A little goes a long way!

The confetti adheres and does not peel after it is dry.

You I can also remember that usually do not do our preschoolers wear gowns during art. I found that they are more willing to approach the art table if they can come and go, especially the two. So it's important to me that the art products we use are washable.

The Confetti paint stains certainly lived up to its title "washable". Yay!!!

I added some extra bling for crowns and text, and they were ready to hung.

I can not wait to see how they look once the rings are up!
