The time has not Twitter! Or at least, it will be this Thursday, 8:00 to 8:00 p.m. Eastern. If you've never attended a party not before Twitter, rules and other details are all here .

In preparation for one of my favorite Twitter events of the season, I offer here on Twitter pitch scriptural criticism that moment (9 September) to Wednesday 11 September at midnight EST.

The rules are pretty simple. Post your twitter field (or slots) in the comments and criticism three other locations. I ask that you guys critical locations each other for two reasons: First, it is the courtesy of paying it forward, and secondly, I really believe that you can learn as much from criticizing other people you may receive criticism.

I'll try to get each of locations, although if you post more than one comment and get crowded, I can not promise that I will get one. But I will do my best for all criticize. * Roll the sleeves *

For a reminder of the necessary elements for a no Twitter, see this position . And examples of winning locations (that is, sites that have received requests) #PitMad the event of Mars, see this nice roundup of Carissa Taylor.

Some tips for the event itself:
  1. Try not to publish more once per hour. I recommend you to post twice an hour at most. I understand the temptation to post several times, especially when new agents or publishers enter the fray, but I promise you that spamming diet will not do you favors. publishing professionals know how to scroll, and more-tweeting your property, all you are doing is piling food.

  2. Having more than one ready. I generally like to set up three or four locations to tweet all day. The reason this is helpful is because sometimes a step may not work for a professional, but another fact. It also helps to fight against fatigue high, what can happen when people read the same pitch over and over again.

  3. Do nothing on list . Read. Memorize it. Avoid at all costs.
So that covers about it! To start this off, I posted the three sites I am preparing for the event Thursday. Feel free to tear.
