CONFIGURATION OF PRESCHOOL CLASSROOM

CONFIGURATION OF PRESCHOOL CLASSROOM -

This week, we had the agreement to put everything back in our classroom after the walls and ceilings were painted, and floors have been waxed.

It was overwhelming for a while, thinking where everything was and where they should be placed.

Chairs stacked pictures down, cans and batteries piles.

Where at begin?

I started on one side of the room and my co-teacher began on the other side. We moved furniture to their destination, sometimes rearranging several times until he felt "right".

Pocket graphics and pictures were hung.

Little Lamps and details have been established up.

Our Table written in our book corner.

Our collection of science, situated above our block tray. You can see more photos of how we bring nature into the classroom here.

Our collection of small pieces we use with various activities above our cabinets.

And he started coming together!

With added curtains to add a little sweetness, but still let in light through.

There's still more to do, like putting name cards of children in various parts of the room, adding a few more labels, tweaking things here and there. But it will be ready for the open house Wednesday!
