I've had the privilege to visit several kindergartens Reggio Emilia influenced, and I noticed the love they have for working with clay. I am interested. And then I read this article to let children play and I really wanted to integrate it into our classroom….

And So when my co-teacher decided to add clay to the table of art, I am delighted!
We gave a little clay to each child without instructions.
We observed they touched. Then placed their hands on it. How do you feel? 'I asked.
Cold.
Wet.
Like dirt.
Then we gave them pony beads to push them. (Note: because they are small and the risk of suffocation, the preschoolers were supervised all time.)

Because Clay is not as soft as dough, they have to work their fingers and some palms more.
After squishing and prick the rolled preschoolers flat clay and pressed more beads it.
