I came across this incredibly bizarre object is used in a display in a florist shop near my home. I snapped a few shots, and asked the florist what in the world he was. He was obviously organic, but I had never seen anything like that. He said he was a "Buffalo Bean", but that is all he knew about it. He even broke one open for me and there was a firm white center. I did a quick search online, and while "Buffalo Bean" made up a lot of links, I could not find anything looking even close to that. Does anyone out there know what the hell is this? Is it as bad as it looks? Can I cook with it? Help! Sunday, July 28, 2013
