Figgy Friday! Burrata Bruschetta with Grilled Figs

Figgy Friday! Burrata Bruschetta with Grilled Figs - My friends Goodbite presented this beautiful roasted figs and burrata cheese video today, and since I see a lot of fresh figs on the market I thought I'd re-post. If you have not seen before, I hope you enjoy. If you saw it, but did not get around to trying it, consider this a friendly reminder that you really, really should!

the original post from last August following:

If you watch television as much food as I do, you hear the "sexy" word thrown around a bit, and more often than not, it does not match. No matter how nice a bowl of chili looks like, or how beautifully a game of chicken shines, they are not really "sexy".

This burrata bruschetta with roasted figs, on the other? Totally "sexy!"
If there were such a thing as flash cards word association with food, the most common result for this would be "sexy". Okay, I'll stop using these quotes now.

Beyond the impressive this recipe tastes, it's so nice to be able to view this aesthetic flat after the recent series of simple food. Thanks to all the good comments about sausage and stewed zucchini, but if this thing was a blind date, he was described as "having a great personality."

Depending on the location, I can not guarantee that you will be able to find burrata and fresh black Mission figs, but if you can, you really need to give this a try. I know someone will ask, so I'll tell you now, there is not really a great substitute for this heavenly cheese.

a very fresh mozzarella is the closest, but it would still be substituting for Beyonce Wanda Sykes. it's not insulting Wanda Sykes (
she has a great personality) , but in the sexy department, Mrs. Jay-Z is in a different league, and is so what burrata and grilled fig bruschetta . Enjoy
