New Drawing Made Easy edition - My favorite start drawing book is available again after being long out of print. I posted about it a year ago.

First published in 1921, Drawing Made Easy taught millions of people how to draw, and it, AOS one who taught me. Now Darren Rousar, a leading instructor of academic drawing view size brought back into print.

Drawing Made Easy uses a sensible approach. Each drawing begins with simple, easy to understand the forms and carries out final details, essentially the same method used in the academies of the 19th century.
Each drawing is presented in a series of simple steps and memorable. The subjects are people, animals, flowers, and trains and cars antique charm.

The beginning student, Äîeither child or adult, to Äîprogresses quite difficult topics by the end. This clover is difficult to get right without the analytical method which Lutz present. This new edition also includes some key chapters of Lutz, OSA intermediate book, Drawing practice, covering the proportions of the figure and management of light and shadow to produce the form.

When Mr. Rousar asked to contribute the foreword to this edition, I am very happy. Here, AOS what I wrote (click to enlarge).
