There are so many fun ways to encourage counting, as the activity of counting preschool for spring ! So easy to do and the game with!
This activity is part of our collection Play Preschool Math. Gather these materials and you are ready to go!
Materials Needed:
- Silk flower pieces
- colored craft sticks
- glue
- Small containers keep the flowers
- figures that can be recorded on the containers
Directions:
Simply Glue flowers at the tip of the craft sticks with glue. While they are drying, the number of bands on the small containers, 1 to 5. I typed some numbers in a Word document and print them on colored paper. You can also use the number stickers or just hand write them. Keep it simple!
Note: You are certainly not limited to 5. If your child more account, you can add containers and flowers! A great activity that can grow with your child.
How use:
- View containers in a row, with sticks of flowers next to them.
- Call the numbers with your child, pointing to each number as you do.
- Invite your child to place the correct number of flowers in each container.
- Once your child masters, try mixing the numbers so that they are not order.
