I guess we are part of an alarming trend. In Starbucks, we observed 14 patrons. Eleven of them were busy with laptops, two were interested in handheld devices, and one was a child playing quietly with an empty coffee cup.
No one spoke except to say, "Do you mind if I plug this in?"
