Gardening with children can be fun if you give them their own space to work. We did a lot of individual planting, and this week we decided to let our preschoolers make their own terrariums . It's pretty easy, and it's something they can call their own.

This idea came to our attention parentpretty.com.
Materials us used:
- Jam Jars (all wide-mouth jars work)
- Petits Cailloux
- Activated charcoal
- ground
- Figures Small plastic
- cuttings Plants

About one month before the activity, we have a call for those jam jars of Bonne Maman. (Do not you just love their covers?)
I put everything in our outdoor classroom and we had to work.

First, we realized a few pebbles in our jars.

Next, a set of ball charcoal.

The the final layer was soil.

Small plastic figures were added.

We pieces carved out of succulents to add to the terrarium.

And gave them a beautiful wreath water.

The lid has been screwed on.

Ready take home!
