I was eager to read The Wicked We by Sarah Harian since I heard of this epic-sounding NA novel, and now, after reading, I can say without a doubt live up to my expectations and more.

As usual, here Goodreads Abstract:
"Evalyn Ibarra should not be an accused killer and experimental subject test prison. There is one year, it was a normal student. Now, she was sentenced to one month in the dining an obstacle course of advanced compass prison designed by the government to execute justice.
If it survives, the world will know that she is innocent.
Locked up with new and potentially psychotic notorious criminals, Evalyn must fight against the prison and dismantle its past to stay alive. But popular for precision system seems to kill at random.
She does not expect to make friends.
She has no intention of falling in love, either. "
What immediately caught my interest about Wicked was that this is not a typical contemporary novel Romance not speak evil of New Adult Contemporary Romance NA, (I read CR NA excellent as this one and this one), but for my part, be very excited when I see some variation in the NA market.

Because I love edge of your seat-like novels, I was pretty excited about it and it certainly did not disappoint.

What I liked Wicked was how he kept me guessing, each page was wondering what would happen, and how Evalyn survive, or if it would be even. Not only that, but I found myself sympathizing with really dark characters, and even more attached to them, something that I love, because it is a sign of development really fantastic character and construction.

What's even more exciting about this already fascinating book is that it really is the New Adult category. Evalyn is not a typical college student, she is virtually dead, but it always deals with many of the same struggles, fears and insecurities that other NA-age characters. His voice is the category beautifully, and for me Wicked serves as unequivocal evidence that NA Speculative Fiction can certainly be successful.

I give The Wicked We 5/5 stars and recommend it to anyone interested in trying another side of New Adult who loves as exciting, edge of your seat novels.

Have you read Wicked? Also, I'd be happy to take some specfic recommendations NA!
