I set up a collection of autumn activities for preschoolers that we have done in recent years. I love this season! There are so many wonderful learning opportunities that tap into five senses.
Mixing red and yellow in the easel:

We've does this in several different ways, but in this business, we use a large sponge. I love how the whole arm is underway worked!
Scooping plastic items pumpkins

We placed plastic pumpkins in the sensory table, as well as dried peas, sand and rocks.
Exploring leaves:

The the leaves are the most beautiful they begin to turn color! You can see even better when placed on a light table, as we have done here.

Blending Fall colors using balloons:

This was a fun way to mix green and yellow on orange paper (or any other color you could want). Of course, this is one of those activities you can fit any season or theme.
Fall sensory bin:

We colored macaroni small nuances pinecones, sticks, bowls, sheets and sensors and orange bugs added. (We use these bugs sensors for all activities!)

Paper plate pumpkins:

We painted paper plates with tinted orange glue and added yellow and orange pieces of paper and facial features, along a stem. To keep it from being too clever, we let them choose that they wanted to add to their pumpkins in any way they wanted. No two are alike!
Exploring all the things orange:

I peeked in class next to two exploring to find the orange items on top of a mirror.
Tweezers and small pumpkins:

This was the base set up before we added small pieces for them transfer.
Orange plasticine and halloween sequins:

Mix a lot of dough, color it orange, and add objects to change a bit. A great sensory texture experience!
Cornmeal in sensory bin:

We filled the table with cornmeal, then added some dried corn, mortar and pestles.
Rolling painted pumpkins:

We painted miniature pumpkins and place them in a tray lined with paper. As we moved pumpkins through the paper, a design was created on paper.
Painting with pipettes:

After reading Nuts to You, we squirt brown paint and orange squirrels using pipettes.
The giant pumpkin:

We cut pieces of orange paper as a fine motor exercise and made a giant pumpkin. It was a fun group activity!

Making pumpkins flubber:
We White flubber used cutting pumpkin cookies, coloring with markers and adding googly eyes.
Tweezing Indian Corn:

We tweezers used to pull the ear of grain. excellent exercise for the eyes of the hand coordination!
Leaf Prints:

We Thanksgiving is a runner stamp sheets using cookie cutters and fall colors.
Fall Wreaths:

All you need is a sheet of paper (with the center cut), tinged with white glue to paint the brown tempera, and leaves!
Cinnamon Apple Pie Play Dough:

It feel like the holidays when you whip up a batch of this dough: Stunning kitchen utensils for cooking some claim fun!
Set a pumpkin Stand:

We added pumpkins, baskets, scales and cash registers in our dramatic play area for standing pumpkin!

No-touch wallpaper pumpkins:

Simply splash some paint on a pumpkin shape and cover it with Saran Wrap. The painting moves when the plastic is pressed!
Macaroni necklaces:

Color of dry macaroni with autumn colors and string for necklaces. (We carry our own during our Thanksgiving program Feast.)
Paint pumpkins:

Our two years especially love this business. Best of all, you can take the pumpkins outside to wash the paint when finished, and start all over!
Hammering golf tees in pumpkins:

This is another favorite! We use our hammers and plastic golf tees for many different activities, but I think it is like the most.
Fall leaf collage:

The next next to ours rolled paint on a large piece of cardboard and paper glued on top. The love of colors!
Spiders in sensory bin:

Dye orange rice and add plastic spiders! (We also added twinkling lights for fun.)
Orange silk paper collage:

Cut orange tissue paper into strips and apply with < type="amzn"> liquid starch
(thinned with a little water).Nature collage:

Fall is a good time to take a walk! Take along a bag and fill it with treasures found on land and do the collage.
Stamp with pumpkins:

We placed the red and yellow paint in containers and stamped on paper with miniature pumpkins. Like painting slips a little on paper, red and yellow to orange.

A timeless classic, stamping with apples! We cut a handful in the apple for easy handling.

Go stomping in puddles!
